Name: Scoop Daniels
Nickname: “Stump Monkey” Given to me by Hilary Domangue because I’m short and furry.
Secret identity: Brad “Class of 1992”
Hometown: Houma, Louisiana
High School Mascot: Terrebonne High School Tigers
Experience: I got hooked on radio in college at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana as an afternoon host on 97.1 KNWD “The Demon.” It was at KNWD that I was asked to host an overnight shift on 95.9 KZBL, a local top 40 radio station, where I eventually moved to evenings.
After graduation I moved to Alexandria, Louisiana and was a news director for a group of four radio stations. After a year in the “armpit” of this great state I moved back home and began working for 107.5 KCIL as a show producer and DJ. It wasn’t long before I switched over to 106.3 KXOR and the rest is history. Besides the on-air work, which I love, I am also a Certified Radio Marketing Consultant in the sales department. I enjoy helping businesses reach their full potential by advertising on our stations.
If you are a business owner and want to know about the power of radio advertising give me a call at our offices at (985)851-1020 or e-mail me at scoop1063@yahoo.com.
Age: 35 but I don’t feel a day over 28. I just need more sleep and it hurts when I fall down.
What do you wish you could do for a living? I’m doing what I love. If not this, then maybe run for political office or fighting space aliens.
